Message You have to indicate what you are using the car for and/or what issues you have, if any.

If all you want to do is "stiffen" the suspension up, then buy anything made by quality manufacturers and your suspension will surely be stiffer. The more parts you buy and the more OEM you replace, the stiffer the car will get. Hope you dont plan on DD'ing anymore.

Suspension mods have very specific effects, so you should have a purpose in mind for what you are trying to achieve/eliminate, rather than simply "stiffen up" the car.....which is a given for just about any suspension part out there.

If you just feel the car is just too sloppy with the worn out OEM pieces/bushings, and want to eliminate the slop, then you can replace everything with rubber bushings attached from tension rods to control arms to sway bar bushings to differential bushings and even the rear subframe (AFAIK you have to buy a new subframe, you cant just get OEM rubber&goo-filled bushings) with new OEM parts, the car will handle great, the ride quality will be excellent, and the NVH will be at a minimum. No way you can do this for $1000

Since you already have coilovers which likely are much stiffer than stock, you have to decide: do you want to keep some semblance of compliance in the ride quality? or are you willing to shake the fillings out of your teeth driving on public roads? maybe the streets in Long Beach are quite nice and you can get away with much stiffer suspension than most others. When I lived in OKC the area was largely repaved so I could get away with much stiffer suspension. In Germany.....not so much.

For a streetcar that gets DD'ed fairly often if not primarily, I would just get Nismo bushings. The ones available are for the places where you will appreciate the difference. Do not replace the bushings in the lower control arms though. The bushings are a PITA to replace and no one has ever been pleased with the results from what I have seen in postings here and 3rd hand accounts. Nismo bushings and powertrix coilovers should go a long way to remove a lot of, if not all, the slop in the suspension and will run you well within your $1000 budget. Anything beyond that will require aftermarket suspension parts that will take you out of your budget fast.

and FYI, you should get a "300 Degree" Camber correction kit if you are using the coilovers to lower the ride height. They can only compensate for a modest drop (0.8") but it is a far better solution than buying adjustable front upper control arms and then having to purchase the accompanying spherical bearing tension rods to prevent damage to the upper arms....all just to lower the car properly.

property and you will be hailed by the president for your keen social conscience. But call people who blow up, behead, and mutilate, “savage” —
and polite society will find you offensive."
